Whats wrong with my 2 month old?

My baby girl turns 2 months on the 3rd and i was just wondering why she has been sucking and chewing on her fist a lot and slobbering more than a 2 month old should. Its hard to believe that she could be teething so early but i heard its possible. but her gums are not even swollen or red. so im a bit confused. she has a doctors appt coming up soon but i wanted to know other peoples opinion on it. thanks :)
