Will this help me with weight loss?

Instead of eating the way I used to I drink more liquids before during and after breakfast lunch and dinner. If I find my self wanting to snack on things of boredom I eat sunflower seeds , an orange or I chew gum. I've been jogging one day and walk the other day, every other day and pretty son I will be running and jogging every other day. I've also started drinking Metamucil. But I am still eating the same foods I usually eat I've just minimized the intake. Is this unhealthy? I try to burn anything I over do. I'm just very tired of my weight. I'm happy with my size I just want to get rid of the plumpness and get toned. I'm also just trying to get to the weight the doctor is telling me is where I am supposed to be. I'm not at risk of anything I just don't want to feel my legs and stomach jiggle when i walk.
